Description

Simple to install on restorations or new construction. You can restore an old rocker or build a virtually maintenance free base for your new chair or ottoman with Platte River glider/rocker hardware: Individual ball bearing assemblies are precision ground and pre-lubricated for long life. Each assembly consists of a 1-1/8" diameter flanged bearing with a 1-7/16" long x 3/8-16 threaded shaft. Two flat washers, three mounting screws and a jamb nut are also included. Thin profile allows mounting in 3/4" stock. Bearings are sold each. Construction of a glider rocker base requires 8 bearings. Assemblies mounted in Red Oak frames held static loads up to 700 pounds.
